Ingeus' Working Neighbourhoods Fund is open to people who live in Yardley and are either:
- Single parents claiming Income support
- Young people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance
- People seeking to become self-employment
- People on health-related benefits
Our programme has already helped hundreds of yardley residents to move from benefits into lasting jobs, and our services include:
- Free access to our Job Station computers, phones and newspapers
- Calculations to show you how much financially better-off you will be in work
- Self-employment support to help you plan, start, and mange your business
- Expert job-search support, including advice on how to find and apply for work and prepare for interviews
- Expert health advice from our health professionals to help you manage your health condition
- Access to work-focused training though our network of local partners
- In-house workshops, covering a range of topics such as such as ‘Confidence building’ and ‘Interview skills’
- Continuing support to help you manage the transition from benefits into work
