We support long-term unemployed people and single parents on our Brent and Haringey Employment Zone programmes.
Ingeus works with Jobcentre Plus to run Employment Zone programmes in the London boroughs of Brent and Haringey. If you live in one of these areas and your Jobcentre Plus advisor refers you to Ingeus, you will be given your own Ingeus advisor and will come to our offices for your appointments.
Everyone who joins our Employment Zone programmes is given individual, focused support to find the right job and become financially better off than they were on benefits.
What sort of support does Ingeus offer?
Every Ingeus client can access the following support:
- A personal employment advisor - one-to-one support throughout your search for work;
- In-work benefits calculations - to work out how much better off you will be in work;
- Expert job-hunting advice - such as finding and applying for jobs, confidence-building, and interview techniques and practice;
- Great facilities - well-equipped job-hunting areas with PCs, internet, phones, newspapers and journals;
- Financial assistance - such as paying for travel expenses, work equipment and interview clothing;
- Continuing in-work support - our support is ongoing for as long as you require it.
