‘Working for Wellness’ is a FREE training course that aims to promote well-being in Tower Hamlets.

What is ‘Working for Wellness’?

Ingeus has teamed up with NHS Tower Hamlets to provide FREE training courses for local organisations and businesses. The training will equip attendees with user-friendly knowledge about how to recognise mental health areas such as stress and anxiety, as well as gain confidence in using practical tools to provide support in a positive and appropriate way.

Who is the course suitable for?

There are three versions of the course, tailored to support the following groups. Click on the relevant link to find out more.

• Local businesses – to help increase productivity by creating a positive workplace and improving employee well-being

• Health trainers – for continued professional development in mental health awareness and to support individuals confidently within the community

• Community employment advisers – to increase advisers’ knowledge about mental health issues and equip them to offer support to members of the community.

Who is the course run by?

Ingeus is an international company with over 20 years’ experience providing vocational rehabilitation services. We have developed an innovative Condition Management Programme (CMP) to address mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and stress, as well as physical health conditions, such as chronic pain, coping with illnesses (e.g. HIV and cancer) and weight concerns.

‘Working for Wellness’ is delivered by qualified mental and physical health professionals who currently work on Ingeus’ employment programmes, supporting people who need health-related assistance to move into work. Our in-house CMP service has allowed our health professionals to build their awareness of people’s needs within the community and develop suitable techniques to support them.
