In July 2008 we began delivering the New Deal for Disabled People programme in Dorset, in partnership with MAXIMUS Employment and Training UK.
MAXIMUS provide a job brokerage service from their established local office, while participants also receive assistance from Ingeus' in-house health specialists. From April 2004 until November 2007, Ingeus ran the UK's single largest New Deal for Disabled People programme in Birmingham and Solihull. Through referrals from Jobcentre Plus, and a variety of marketing and outreach activity, the programme supported over 2,100 people with a range of health conditions to find suitable employment, 80% of whom sustained their jobs for at least three months.
