Ingeus' team of in-house health professionals specialise in either psychology/occupational therapy or physiotherapy and use a holistic approach to help clients manage their health conditions so that they can return to work.
Our successful model involves tackling clients’ physical and mental health needs alongside their employment needs. Health professionals work closely with each other, as well as with employment advisors and clients, and play an integral part in achieving positive outcomes.
Lead Health Professionals for each discipline are responsible for: Clinical Governance, risk management and duty of care issues; ensuring that there is a standardised and continuously improving service across our programmes; and ensuring that health professionals are well supported in their CPD.
Ingeus' health professionals work in a non-clinical setting and are expected to help shape the way in which our services develop. They are given the space to design and deliver one-to-one and group workshops for clients, such as ‘Confidence building’ and ‘Stress, anxiety and relaxation’.
Our current health professionals describe one of the main benefits of the role as the satisfaction of seeing the impact of their work when the clients they have been helping move into employment.
Two Ingeus health proessionals describe their roles:
Jennifer Trzeciak, Mental health professional
Laura Carroll, Physiotherapist
